A new Victoria, BC asian fusion restaurant. Sanuk, a Thai word meaning pursuit of happiness, is the inspiration behind new image for the restaurant.
Tactex is Vancouver Island’s leader in the technology sector, developing Kinotex® sensors which detect touch and pressure, used primarily in the healthcare industry. Along with their new breakthroughs came the need for a new brand to better express who Tactex is and what they do. The use of a modern, futuristic font gives this logo a “techie” feel and the forward motion of the pads or dots, directly relates to their product.
The Almeida Group was designed for Paul Almeida. It's the umbrella company that owns Bella Moda, La Moda and Changing Times salons. Specializing in colour treatments for hair, we incorporated different shapes and colours in the identity representing the variety of styles and techniques they use and produce.
Becon Support Services is Vancouver Island’s largest organization providing residential and community support to individuals with development disabilities. They are primarily directed to meeting the needs of children requiring a residential setting, offering a variety of opportunities within a caring nurturing environment along with the ability to

This Identity was created for a veterans care facility in Victoria, British Columbia. The board of directors wanted something “peaceful and serene” but also have that “Victorian” flavour. The “Tree” represents many things but in this case we used it to
portray the peaceful strength inherent in it's nature.
Mark Smith of “MCS Painting & Decorating” wanted to target the higher end clientele of Victoria and Vancouver. Mark wanted to show that he and his crew are artists before painters, that they are bonded, trustworthy, clean and professional. Demographics show that 86% of interior projects are female clientele, so keeping the logo soft, feminine and pretty was kept in consideration. It also signifies an artist’s palette with colours swirled in harmony.
The Tattoo world is an “extreme” one. The challenge is to somehow stand out from the rest, with so many different styles and techniques it’s a tall order. Jamer isn’t really to concerned with what everybody else is doing, he just concentrates on what is true and real to him, and that means sticking to the “old school” ways of tattooing.
This logo was created for the re-branding of the only restaurant/pub/cold beer & wine store in Youbou, BC. Being in a logging town with a primarily a blue collar clientele, they needed something which was a little rustic, but cool enough to attract the younger generation and tourists. The use of a woodcut block typeface with ornamental accents gives that backwoods feel. The weathered star badge/target is a hip icon they use across all their marketing. Look-out there is a new sheriff in town!
Prism Imaging (formerly Prism Photo) is trying to rebrand themselves as Victoria’s professional graphics center, as opposed to strictly a photo lab. Stepping up to the plate with solid competitors such as Island Blue and Fast Signs calls for some heavy ammunition. Prism Imaging offers many products and services each requiring specific identity needs.
Breaking new ground in the nightclub scene is hard to do, but The Social Club has done exactly that! The owners wanted something modern, classy and sophisticated, bringing them the same type of clientele. Using a variation on traditional fonts and clean lines we created a strong, long lasting brand that will not lend itself to being dated.
